A MIRAR
Lo que aprendimos a mirar / What we learned to see
We live in an environment saturated with images where attention is often fragmented. We look constantly, yet rarely learn to truly observe. Learning to draw and paint is not merely about mastering a manual technique; above all, it is perceptual training.
Every artwork begins long before the first stroke: it emerges the moment we choose to remain before what is in front of us, unspoiled by preconceived notions, and learn to see reality with its true proportions, light, and shadows.
What We Learned to See brings together the work of individuals who chose to carve out a space to learn and sustain that process over time. Each piece exhibited here documents hours of practice, visual choices, corrections, and perseverance before the paper or canvas. Rather than merely showcasing finished works, this exhibition shows the formative process and the value of dedicating time to cultivating one's own gaze.
Marking ten years of continuous artistic education in the region, Te Trajo el Viento presents this collective exhibition as a space for pause and discovery.
We invite you to walk through the gallery at an unhurried pace. Along the way, you will be reminded that what we see depends, to a great extent, on the attention we are willing to give.
For only that to which we choose to dedicate our time ultimately reveals itself to us.

Art has been present in every stage of my life. For over ten years, I have expressed myself through abstract painting, a language that allows me to give life to the intangible. Creation is the space where I connect with my deepest essence and reveal who I truly am, unfiltered. For me, painting is a sacred refuge where my inner self expresses itself freely.

Art is my place of peace. It is where time slows down and diferences fade away.
In front of the canvas, we are all equal: only the joy of creating remains. With every brushstroke, I have discovered patience, the power of color, and the language of texture. But the greatest lesson has been realizing that there are no limits for those who dare to create-that the impossible is simply waiting to be imagined.

Starting each artwork is a journey of self-discovery. From tracing the first pencil line to venturing into acrylics and the palette knife, art has taught me to observe details and cultivate patience. Blending lights, shadows, and shades of blue, I have learned to translate my emotions onto the canvas. Creating is my path to finding strength, inner peace, and resilience.

Life, in its constant change, forces you to pause, and it is then that you must rebuild yourself: to face yourself directly to find your essence, recognize who you are, and accept and celebrate your flaws and virtues.
In painting, I have found a space of freedom and expression where sensitivity replaces routine.
For many years, I have worked helping to discover and process emotions as well as feelings. Feelings create stories that stay with us for a long time. Today, through color, brush, and canvas, I capture feelings that tell stories: some as subtle as clear water, others as bold as a strong wind. An art imbued with emotion and narrative.
